2010 LAND ROVER LR4
Filed Aug 22, 2026
Recall caused full engine failure which caused 75mph to abrupt stop on Highway. Violently shaking and leaked gas inside vehicle. I was confused because I had no collision and liberty mutual denied my claims, but I was hurt from a recall - dealer frequently recorded as fixed during a scam that caused me to lose my full savings and be stuck with a unfixed covered car. (Dealer tried to say they were helping me buy not charging $2500 and said they were sending my car to an impound.) causing me to…

Formal safety complaint against dealer for recall malpractice and non-compliance with federal safety repair procedures under Campaign 21V635000. During recall service, the service department completely bypassed the mandatory TOPIx Workshop Manual Section 310-01 electronic priming sequence, leaving high-pressure fuel rails completely dry upon reassembly. Bypassing this safety protocol introduced severe air pockets into the high-pressure fuel system. Time-stamped OBD diagnostic screenshots taken…

2012 LAND ROVER LR4
Filed Mar 9, 2026
I am writing to formally request a review of my vehicle for inclusion in NHTSA Recall 21V-635, issued May 11, 2022, concerning fuel leaks at the fuel tank flange assembly. My vehicle is a 2012 Land Rover LR4, VIN [XXX] . Although my local Land Rover dealer has informed me that my VIN is not currently included in the recall population, my vehicle is experiencing the exact condition described in the recall notice — a fuel leak originating from the fuel outlet flange mounted on the fuel tank. …

2013 LAND ROVER LR4

The transmission oil cooler pipes commonly leak on 2010-2013 LR4 and Range Rover Sport (LS) to the extent that a TSB (LTB00378NAS2) was issued on September 9th 2014 by JLR. The fluid leak causes undue wear on the transmission along with corrosion of the chasis. JLR in Alpharetta, GA wants to charge $3,100 dollars to replace the defective parts. I believe that this problem is much more common that JLR has previously represented in the model years mentioned above and that this should be…
2015 LAND ROVER LR4
Filed Jul 29, 2025
I have a 2015 LR4 with 103k miles. Out of nowhere, engine started making a loud clicking noise. No warning lights, car up to this point had been driving perfectly. Then low coolant and oil signals came on the next day, but no signs of leaking. Added some oil and coolant to get it to a mechanic ( stopped driving it once the noise started). Upon next start up, plume of white smoke. Final verdict was an overheated engine and that it was done. I had pumps replaced 2 years ago, regular service…

Filed May 27, 2025
am writing to formally request reimbursement in the amount of $18,397.76 for engine damage sustained by my 2016 Land Rover LR4 HSE LUX (VIN: [XXX] ), caused by a known defect in the factory-installed plastic outlet pipe. This defect directly led to catastrophic engine failure, leaving me stranded on the highway and incurring substantial repair costs. I purchased this LR4 as a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle with an extended warranty in July 2019 from Land Rover Richmond, VA. From that time…
